Skansen

Skansen is the world s oldest open-air museum.

Entering the gate to the Skansen territory, you seem to find yourself in other times, as here buildings from different parts of the country are collected, demonstrating the life of Sweden for several centuries. Every corner of Skansen has its own history and tells about those who lived and worked here before, as well as about traditions and customs.

Various holidays are held here and various entertainment events are organized all year round. In summer, you can listen to choral singing, see folk dances and attend a concert, and, in winter, visit the Christmas market, dance around the Christmas tree and listen to a concert in the Seglur church.

Skansen is a unique place where the past meets the present, where Swedish traditions and crafts continue and where everyone meets.
